How to make coconut Chaklama
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of coconut.
- A cup of sugar.
- A spoon of vanilla.
- Egg whites for four eggs.
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
How to prepare coconut Chaklama:
- In a deep bowl, add salt to the egg whites and mix them well using an electric mixer or electric mixer, and continue beating the eggs with the salt for 5 minutes.
- Add sugar and vanilla to the egg mixture, and continue whisking well until the mixture becomes thick.
- Then pour the coconut into the mixture, stir the mixture well until it becomes cohesive, and then form the dough into coconut balls the size of a lemon.
- After completing the formation of the coconut balls, we place the parchment paper in a tray so that they do not burn in the oven, then we place the Chaklama balls on the parchment paper.
- In a preheated oven at 150 degrees, we put the Chaklama and leave it on low heat for 20 minutes. After that, it is browned on top, focusing carefully on it so that it does not burn. Finally, we leave it to cool and serve it cold to eat.
